3 QUESTIONS TO:
ANNA KLEBERG THAM

Anna Kleberg Tham (born 1970, Sweden) had her first exhibition with us in November-December last year. We were thrilled to show two new bodies of work, “On and On” and “San Michele”. Anna offered the viewer a great escape into the human psyche through architecture, scale shifting and humor.  On display in our window is the work “Stack, Balance, Collapse” (2019) and we wanted to check in with Anna to see what she is up to at the moment.

What are your working on right now?

- I'm pretty busy working with the publishing company Art and Theory that I run since a few months. It was founded 2012 by Anna Eriksson and now we have a list of super inspiring projects coming up.
I'm also working on a contribution/photographic illustration for Carsten Höller's upcoming Spiele Buch which is a lot of fun. It is a book with games that can be played without the use of any material. Apart for that I'm as always busy juggling multiple art projects and other stuff.

When social distancing is the new normal, through what media channel (social or not) do you find inspiration?
- I'm very impressed with the spectra of online happenings taking place and really like the work behind and projects by BRILLO VOX.

What artist or what artwork has had a defining impact on you and why?
-
I love Isa Genzken's work and one of the reasons for doing so is that I don't fully understand why!

Thanks, Anna!
